I started by cutting a vanilla cupcake into 3 layers then building the mini cake:
1. Cake
2. Raspberry preserves
3. Almond flavored whipped cream
4. Cake (lightly soaked in mixture of equal parts rum and water plus some sugar)
5. Vanilla pudding
6. Cake
7. Cover the whole cake with almond whipped cream
8. Cover in green marzipan
9. Decorate with marzipan flowers and/or leaves
10. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar
